Why I do this work
Presence, love, and peace
The time of someone’s passing is often full of uncertainty and worry. Family members want to be sure they’re respecting wishes. The person dying wants to be heard but not feel like a burden. Everyone can find it hard to face what’s happening. These common difficulties cloud the potential for presence, love, and peace that is possible in this poignant time.
That’s why I became an end-of-life doula – to help you and your family navigate this final passage with dignity, comfort, and love.
About Dina
My background
After my husband died, I quickly discovered that grief doesn’t arrive alone.
Alongside the heartbreak came a seemingly endless list of responsibilities: paperwork, phone calls, financial matters, legal documents, and administrative tasks that demanded attention when I could barely process what had happened. Like so many people experiencing loss, I was expected to navigate a complex system at a time when grief made it difficult to think clearly or even know where to begin.
I remember wishing there was someone who could simply walk beside me and help me through it all.
That search for support led me to discover the role of a death doula. For the first time, I understood that there were people dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate death, dying, and the difficult days that follow with compassion, clarity, and practical guidance.
Today, that experience informs every aspect of my work. I support people facing end-of-life transitions with the same kindness, presence, and steady guidance that I wished had been available to me. It is both a calling and a privilege to help others feel supported d
